our movement method

mobilize:

Let’s mobilize before we move. Range of movement is the key to our movement potential. Let’s spend some time at the start opening things up through a mixture of breath work, dynamic stretches and movement flows.

stabilize:

Before we load, we’ll spend a few minutes ensuring all your joints are stabilized and your core is prepped, allowing you to lift safely.

the main event:

In pursuit of your individual movement goals, we’ll use kettlebells, TRX and bodyweight exercises to load you into and out of different movement patterns - always focusing on correct form and moving your body well to build strength, endurance and balance.

stretch & feel good:

Think of this as the Yin to the Yang. Our goal is to have you leave the session feeling better than when you started it. So, we always prioritize a cool-down to end your session. This will consist of gentle stretching, mobility and breath work. In life we don’t always take the time to recover, be it mentally or physically. We believe that recovery is a vital component to longevity - in all aspects of life.


initial Consultation & free movement assessment

First, let’s talk about your health and fitness goals and any previous training/injury history. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about how we can best work together to achieve your health and fitness needs.

Then we'll look at how your body moves in several functional movement patterns that require a balance of mobility and stability to determine if there are any weaknesses, imbalances, asymmetries or limitations. From here, we can prescribe corrective movement exercises specific to your needs and program a training plan with purpose, that aligns with your movement goals.
