Shannon Smith
personal trainer & certified strength and conditioning coach
Shannon studied Kinesiology at the University of Calgary and went on to become a certified strength and conditioning coach specializing in ski specific training. She has taken her 10 years of experience working with ski teams and transitioned to working with rec athletes trying to keep up with the mountain lifestyle.
If you were to ask her what she really does, she would tell you that she loves helping her clients realize their potential by creating training plans that work into their activity packed lifestyle. Because she believes that the best training plans are the ones that you actually do. Whether she’s working with weekend warriors or full-time athletes, she wants everyone to feel the confidence to say hell yes to any opportunity for a great adventure.
She believes in training movements over muscles and takes the work you do in the gym and applies it to the field by combining strength and mobility in her programs. The perfect combination, designed to keep your body healthy and performing.
When she’s not in the gym or on the ski hill, you’ll find Shannon training her border collie, Indy, to be the best trail dog ever!
